1. Yes, I wanted the girl to blend in a bit with the background, maybe not quite as much as she does lol.

2. Nope, not oil pastels for Hat Trick.. it was a combination of stuff.. mostly ink and watercolor pencils. The smudgey-ness was mostly done in photoshop.
